The Tasting Table Cookbook Club: March’s Cookbook
The Tasting Table Cookbook Club on FaceBook selected March to be the month of Alton Brown. Some of my recipes this month will be coming from Alton Brown: EveryDayCook . We are cooking through a different book each month posting photos of the meals we cooked along with any recommendations that would make the recipe better or healthier. My goal is to cook at least one recipe per week and so far I am having a blast sharing them with everyone.
Alton Brown offers some practical advice in this cookbook. He breaks down what hardware he has in his kitchen with a brief explanation of how he uses them. He also has a section on his favorite pantry items and bar items; along with a brief explanation of how you can use everything in your kitchen to make a great meal or drink. There is a section on his favorite methods of cooking, for example, he talks about how to set up a fry station to cooking under pressure.
He has a pressure cooker recipe which I am excited about. I love my Instant Pot, which is an electric pressure cooker, so I will be attempting to make his Pho Bo (Beef Pho) in the pressure cooker.
